| originally a fb status, but i'm gonna post it here for posterity.
at this time last night, i was in a bar with my roommate and their satellite radio was dead. so, the bartender put on her "circa 1999" cd collection, including a michael jackson mix cd. a local guy started singing along and dancing for no reason. thriller. beat it. billie jean. it was strange then, now just surreal. as we were walking out, he turned and told us "hey man, it's only human nature..."

| december was once my favorite month. how is it already Dec. 1st? i need a whole 'nother month. is there any way to go back and do november over again? for that matter, how about the 10 months before that?
2009 used to seem so far off, but it's only 31 days away now. lets salvage what we can and close up shop on 08, shall we?
